On 2026-08-31 I launched Music Visualizer (https://musicvisualizer.net/). It's a browser studio that takes a track, your artwork and some text and turns them into an audio-reactive video you can post.

Why I built it

If you release music, a finished track isn't enough anymore. YouTube, TikTok and Reels all want video. Most of the options I found were either a static image with a looping animation or a full video editor with a learning curve. I wanted something in between: motion that actually follows the song, without opening After Effects.

What it does

Audio-reactive presets. Frequency analysis drives the bars, waves and pulses, so the motion follows the beat. Presets include Liquid Bass, Retro Cassette, Lo-fi, Prism Reactor, Euphoric and Forest Echo, and you can customize each one.

Your branding. Artwork (with pan/zoom crop), logo, title text, colors and animation intensity.

Three formats from one edit. 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok/Reels/Shorts, 1:1 for square posts. Artwork cropping adapts to each ratio.

Export: H.264 at 720p, 1080p or 2K, up to 60 FPS.

How it works for you

Pick a preset.

Drop in your audio, artwork and logo.

Adjust text, ratio, colors and intensity.

Preview live, then export.

A few design choices I care about:

Local-first editing. Your audio and images stay in the browser while you edit and preview. Nothing is uploaded until you hit export.

Cloud rendering. The final video renders asynchronously on the server, so you don't need a GPU and your laptop doesn't lock up. It also works in modern mobile browsers.

Short retention. Source media and rendered videos are deleted automatically after 14 days. You can download as often as you want within that window.

Who it's for

Music producers and indie artists: release visuals, beat previews, teasers.

YouTube and TikTok creators: vertical or wide clips that move with the audio.

DJs: a consistent visual for a full mix.

Podcasters: episode artwork plus a logo and responsive motion, so an audio episode becomes something people can watch.

Pricing (honestly)

Editing and preview are free. Exports use credits, which you buy once and which never expire. There's no subscription, and packs start at 3.9 USD. 720p/1080p costs 1 credit and 2K costs 2. There's also a free daily export for audio under one minute. If a render fails because of a system error, the credits come back automatically.

What's next

Synced lyrics, 4K export, more presets, and optional subscription plans for people who publish often.

I'd love your feedback

It's early, so blunt feedback is the most useful kind:

Does the editor make sense the first time you use it?

Which presets feel weak, and what styles are missing?

Anything broken in your browser or on your phone?

Try it at https://musicvisualizer.net/ and tell me what you think in the comments. Thanks for reading!
